2009 Audi R8 V10 5.2 FSI Quattro is the result of know-how accumulated chain Audi victories at Le Mans. Its naturally aspirated engine combines race technology as the dry sump lubrication with FSI direct injection gasoline. The ten-cylinder design is the perfect synthesis of dramatic excellence, traction power and light weight. From 2009 this engine will also demonstrate its potential on the tracks in the world – in the new Audi R8 Audi develops GT3 race teams cars for customers, according to the GT3 regulations.
Audi is launching the next version top model online. With the R8, the brand has established itself in the forefront of sports cars top end from the beginning and now the Audi R8 V10. The 5.2-liter, ten-cylinder bus 386 kilowatts (525 hp) and 530 Nm (390.91 pounds / ft) of torque, making for a performance breathtaking. Through superior technology, such as Audi quattro all-wheel drive, the lightweight aluminum body, the innovative all-LED headlights, and sleek design, the new R8 V10 takes pole position to compete.
The Audi R8 V10 5.2 FSI quattro will be launched in Germany in the second quarter of 2009 at a base price of 142,400 euros.
